The main question you have to ask yourself when researching this swap, “Do you go with a fuel cell, aftermarket tank or do the TJ fuel tank swap?” First I changed out the hose inside the fuel pump, you DO NOT need to do that and you should not do this either.       About two years ago I swap in one ton axles. I sold these axles and control arms and that guy hasn’t had any issues still

    I seen the damage myself my area of town where Dougherty high and Sylvester rd school got hit hard by the tornado the flea market was closed and got swept out and there was nothing left no joke

    Dude, I was driving home from work in my 2014 jeep wrangler. Something exploded. I pulled over right away. Looked under my car oil was pouring out. There was a fist size hole in the engine block. Well I’m gonna go buy another motor now.

    Did you ever check the mesh with paint or backlash? I am preparing to do this job and am curious how important it is or what consequences could result by skipping. Thank you in advance.

      I wish I did. That was a customer job. I don’t have any of it anymore. I asked a couple people about 3D printing and no one wanted to try it at the time. This was a couple years ago

    Mine 2019 JL started leaking after an oil change at almost 95,000 miles. At first I thought it was the rear seal, but then I found the puddle on top by the oil filter housing, then I found your video. I've ordered the Dorman and some new sparkies and will tackle this as soon as the part arrives. This baby is my daily driver. I'll come back and let you how bad it was. Lol

      @@ItsaJeepWorld I did it !! I noticed that my 2019 JL was slightly different but overall easy to do after watching this video a few times. I did go ahead and replace spark plugs also. I had a few minor hick-ups, which I will say to avoid them, TAKE YOUR TIME ! CHECK YOUR WORK at each step of the way.

      Make sure all injectors are pushed down all the way

    Just did this procedure today. I would like to add that many of the forums advise changing the oil pressure sensor. I replaced both of mine and did upgrade to the all aluminum housing.

    Hi, you might want to take apart one of those heat shrink connectors as a test. I found that the solder was not going through the wires. It's more of a very weak compression joint VS a true solder joint and it's much weaker than a crimp connection. I am wondering if it would be possible to move the tank higher if you have a body lift? Great video! Thanks.

      I’ve been running it without issue since I installed it. You can put a fuel cell or the tank in the cargo area. Body lift might work to, I’m not a fan of body lifts. No worries, thanks for the comment.

    I'm trying to figure out what the swap is for when both gas tanks have the same capacity of 20 gallons. That's if you do the modification on the TJ gas tank that says it's 20. You just got to cut One of the hoses inside the tank to extend the capacity

      The long arms get interfered with by the stock passenger side tank. This eliminates that issue

    Ugh I just did these last year. Didn't use blue loctite cause I busted to head bolts and actually had to pull my head off to repair.... joyus but got to rebuild my 3.8 . Well of course my mani bolts have backed out

      I think I got the wheel speed sensors from Amazon, I soldered the extension on the new Wheel Speed Sensor wires

      It could be, best to check for a crack first. But could be coil pack

    The "middle" bolt is not missing; it just came with two from the factory. Also, the shield is held by a metal strip, like a zip-tie, factory installed through the third hole.

      They sometimes are pressed on with the bearing and not as a separate component as I did
